Try to reboot your box, change media player to see if that helps
I did that I just got a receiver today
are you connected wifi or hardwire?
try to switch network to 2.4 or 5g
post firmware and app version of your box.
I'm hardwired and my box is-BuzzTV-XR-XRS4500
