xpl 3900 Remote Control ?

Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if there is anyway that I can use my 3900 remote on my 3000 box? cause I tried but did not work?
Is there a way to make it work?

my arq-100 worx fine on 3000 and basic
try other usb port and hard reset
