I setup a firestick for my father with a 1 month donation, It worked for 3 days and now suddenly it stopped working. All he gets in Not Authorized . He has cleared the cache and I have logged into it via teamviewer and reloaded all of the Kodi files , but still same issue.

If I try the mac here on my PC for a test it works fine.

Does anyone have any suggestions ?

Has he set up his serial number as per new requirements? http://iptvtalk.net/showthread.php?9444-Serial-Numbers-Now-Required-for-Kodi-Addons&p=75232#post75232

I do think so yes , But I can't say for sure. Like I said it works fine here on my PC.

If you have it working on your device, copy the settings.xml from your machine and put it on his.

Is that the actual issue ? The 79 won't work with the firestick ?

Agreed. Many knock it, especially for its 1 GB of RAM, but I rarely ever encounter problems related to that. It just hums along, day after day, doing its job.

+1 on the Fire Stick. You just don't want to run a resource intensive skin though. Also the 8.0.4 of the PVR client is not as resource intensive as the 8.0.3.
