iPTV authorization failed

Hello, I had been using IPTV stalker very successfully until I got an authorization failed. I thought no big deal I just log onto paipioa and change my MAC address. I do from time to time use my MAC address on my tablet or computer at other locations thinking this should be fine as long as it's not big used at home. I have now change my MAC address several times, cleared ipthe stalker app, follow Dara sticky to clear the addon directory. Inset my internet, and turned off my VPN, I tried the new MAC address on my other devices thinking it maybe my software install on kodi. I am using iptv stalkier .19 version. Any help is appreciated? Thank you in advance.

Nothing you can do its screwed up and has been for two days, they is numerous posts on here about it. It is annoying only option we got is to wait cause no one seems to know nothin!

I rolled back to IPTV Stalker 1.0.18 and it works. You must make sure Send Serial number is enabled, although you don't have to enter a serial number. A null (empty) serial number does the trick.

As I speculated yesterday, they've added a more aggressive authorization protocol. I'd speculate the iVue compatible versions of IPTV Stalker (i.e., 9.0.18 and 9.0.20) do not send a null serial number and are therefore rejected by the server, and we receive the dreaded "authorization failed" error message.

What an ugly, preventable journey this has been.

Hopefully, IPTV Stalker 9.0.2X can be rolled out quickly. All that would have to be added would be the ability to send a serial number, that being null for the time being. Therefore, those of us who have iVue in our arsenals can continue to use it.

MitchL, you are posting speculation and information that is counter to what actually works. DO NOT SET "SEND SERIAL NUMBER" unless you fully customize the serial number. Most users will be fine if they do not send the psuedo serial number, and sufficiently randomize their MAC.

Dara, you are correct I installed Stalker 1.0.18 on my Amazon Fire TV and did not need to activate the serial number to get access to the Channels. Now to watch some History Channel

Hi Guys, here is a update. I installed the IPTV stalker 1.0.18 but I found this morning or when I rebooted my system last night that IPTV stalker version .19 is installed. When I click on the setting i delete the stalker app and then the older version is then active. Dara i was able to use the stalker with out activating the serial number but then got authorization error after streaming for about 15 minutes when attempting to select another channel. I activated the serial number and then my channels worked. I hope this helps others.

I have an Amazon Fire TV with the Isengard version of KODI. In my settings screen for IPTV Stalker there is no Serial Number field. From looking at the instructions on Mag25, it looks as if it should be under the Mac address. I don't have that. How can I send a serial number to get the system working again?

What is the status of support for the IPTV Stalker? Has the whole eco-system crashed? The application does not work on my Amazon Fire TV any longer. There is no option to send a Serial Number. Your using the wring version of the stalker client. Do some reading.

The key is to make sure you completely customize your serial number, before you actually use a new MAC, which should be in the 78 prefix. Look for links in the tutorials about that.

and use at least 4 random letters and numbers for the Device ID, Device ID2 and Signature. The Serial Number should be alphanumeric as well.

dara, I have to get out the dictionary when you use these big works. do you mean a mix of numbers and letters and where do you put the device id, I don't see a place for that.

If you are on a posted version of IPTV Stalker, either 1.0.18 or 9.0.21, when you click "send serial number" and "custom serial", you will reveal the 4 fields that need to be correctly filled. Please re-read the instructions, and the link to how to prevent your MAC from being hijacked.

Don't forget the "http://"

I don't understand why this always comes up as a question. The stickies, and the first few posts of them, are all you need to configure them properly. I can understand that the donation checker will say it's 11.*, but IPTV Stalker has the correct default portal url for NFPS, and it's kind of obvious that Rocket shouldn't be that much different.

And please, report your results. If it works, we're onto something. I just want to get things working for folks, and there's no disrespect to anyone.

My format jibes pretty closely with this. When I see someone else posting success with something pretty close to my working set-up, I'm thinking there is conformity/identity...i.e., a workable solution.
