Use PVR Stalker and Kodi Live TV. Then do this here: http://iptvtalk.net/showthread.php?8228-Some-Kodi-settings-to-help-with-Live-TV-Buffering

PVR stalker rarely works and the pvr simple client will make your tv freeze really really badly. Just use iptv stalker with the ivue guide. Some channels are freezing tonight like TBS and discovery.

PVR Stalker always works. Your android box most likely does not have enough ram to run any pvr client smooth. Also stalker client will not say nfps anywhere. You need to manually set it up.

Than your doing something wrong or as high247 says that your box does not have enough RAM/CPU power to run it. Mine runs great, no issues at all.

In order to use the pvr stalker client do I first have to uninstall the stalker app that I have on my android box?

No, just disable it and iVue guide if you are using it.
