Delay time entering a channel number

I have a question. When you enter a channel number typing the numbers on the keyboard comes a pop up to enter the channel number you want to find but there where you enter the number of the channel with numbers on the keyboard is there a way to make stay more time on screen that window because is so fast when is closed that window and for example I use a keyboard that requires the function key to enter numbers and is very complex enter combinations of keys so fast to enter numbers before that window close.

Note I'm using android and Himedia Octacore.

In Kodi go to System -> TV -> Playback & enable (by clicking radio button so as blue dot is visible) 'Confirm channel switches by pressing OK'.

This should result in you having to click OK before the popup channel change window disappears.
