apps for your mag254?

You might be right for now but I wouldn't be surprised if someone doesn't come out with something similar to mash up or kodi! With maybe some sort commercial venture in mind! Just like all the freebes that is offered on all the other streamers! Music for thought!!

Wishful thinking and that doesn't hurt anything. But you need to remember that mag25x's are made to get iptv and most will not want to risk killing theirs trying to load linux apps over top the programming. Not unheard of, but unlikely
