I'm new to this, so I want to ask a question before buying a IPTV setup.

I see many, many Android boxes that are able connect to TV on sites like DX. Can I buy any old box with a controller? Since the emulator is an APK, will it work on any device? Is there a minimum hardware requirement? or a more recommended box?

Any advice will be appreciated.

Thanks so much.

So BIO says (http://iptvtalk.net/showthread.php?44-Upcoming-IPTV-FAQ&p=12885&viewfull=1#post12885):

Emulators are never as good as the real thing IMHO

What does that mean? Are emulators on run-of-the-mill android boxes no good? Or is he talking about an Android emulator?

The stb emulator for android works just fine. I mostly use kodi though.

Iptv emulator works great on android box, as for android emulators most are very buggy, Bluestacks works pretty well for android emulators
