I have glanced around a little bit to see if anyone has had a similar problem and I haven't seen it. A friend of mine is running Kodi 15.1 with PVR stalker 8.3. All of his settings look great and it has worked for him for two months. The problem he is having is that the channels load and as the the guide is loading, Kodi completely crashes and goes back to the firestick menu. I don't have a rocket for my firestick so I haven't been able to really troubleshoot this much... The starnge thing was that used his MAC for just a second to try it on mine and it did the exact same thing... This made me think it was a corrupted MAC, I changed it and it continued to crash. Anyone experience this?

It is an issue with xmltv file that is causing the crash. You may have to restart Kodi a couple of times but it will eventually it will stop crashing.

So this is a problem with the guide file sent from the server?

The crash is due to Fire TV stick getting out of RAM while the EPG XML file loads. I suggest you use the new ********** guides, they suppose to load faster. I haven't tried it on my stick, but it certainly loads faster on me Windows PC

uninstall any unneeded plugins, disable any unnessecary apps/ plugins on your device that may run in background.. clear your chaches and set XMLTV preference to XMLTV only, and set url to http:// nfpse.**********..
