Connection issue

Hello everyone I just got a new cable modem today and now my avov2 isn't connecting to the net. under settings / Ethernet it does show DHCP, ip address, netmask, gateway, dns1, dns2, so it looks like its connected to the net but still get nothing as far as an internet connection. I did reboot the Avov2 and modem several times but still cant connect. Has anyone else been threw this ? Any info would be great !!

unplug the Avov2 and cable modem plug in the cable modem first make sure you have internet on your computer then try the AVOV2
