View Full Version : Is this issue a problem with the server or problem with the Avov unit?

I have the Avov tvonline unit. When I watch live shows it will work fine but when I shut the unit down and turn it on later on in the day to watch more live shows the video preview screen is blank and the blue loading symbol just keeps loading. If I pull the plug and plug it back in the live shows work like normal... and the same thing happens when I power down, live shows wont work when I power on. Is my Avov unit defective or is it a problem with the server?
Thanks

But it happens every time I power the unit down, and power up again. When I pull the plug and plug it back in, live channels instantly works. Maybe your thinking of a different issue. :)

Try changing the channel, sometime the unit needs a little nudge. I find that if the channel glitched for froze then the unit doesn't recover properly. A bug in the unit. I do not know. Could also be in the stalker software.

The AVOV TV-Online Box was designed to remain plugged in so it can download the latest AVOV software and channel updates automatically. Even when streaming an HD movie, the AVOV players consume between 1 and 2 watts of power. That is less power than a standard night-light or clock radio, likely making your AVOV player the greenest appliance in your home.

If you don't turn it off doesn't it still consumed bandwidth?

dont think so ,notice that once you live the channels when, going onto other apps it will log out of it ,and when back to iptv it will log in, at least thats what mine does.

even though it migh use very little power (consumption)
The unit if left on well from what mine been doing since I got it is when I turn back on my tv
the screen will be flashing blue and black and I usually would have to unplug the box and plug it back inbecause the remote won't work to turn the system back on

no when you turn it off and turn it back on with the remote it should just turn back on

Have you tried a factory reset I would try that first
