How do you Swipe Down to remove initial message on screen.

I just hooked a box for the first time, I'm sorry to say I can't remove the swipe down message . A,y thoughts would be appreciated.

on the remote can you click on Cursor, move the mouse/Cursor to X?

Thanks, I was using one of those blue tooth key boards, I hooked up a proper mouse, I hate the supplied remote but it's good to know.
