you can send your Mac address to buzz team and ask them to put your in regular update list. :)

What are your firmware and iptv versions?
As for selected few I would guess that at least 70% have upgraded to Buzztv 5.

Great improvement. Buzz is the BEST.

I only wish that I could figure out how to use them all. Really are great improvements on an all ready great box.

OK I did try...after removing my mac on the reset site...
at this time it is saying mu sub is not working expired or not active..

I will give it some time and try again in 1/2 hr or so..


my mac is coming up all 00:00 on the reset site...so Ill reboot the xrs4500 a few times..

after you remove your Mac from provider side you open up server settings on your buzz, navigate to XC API option. enter your portal, username/password will be your donation code and make sure to enter as it shows on provider site (case sensitive). then connect and you should be good.

With Buzz 5 I tried live TV and live PPV TV and it works fine..

But when I go to VOD.... I get an ERROR "MEDIA FORMAT IS NOT SUPPORTED" this also happens on TV SERIES

So LIVE TV works fine but not VOD or TV SERIES
Any Ideas what I have set up wrong ??

These Buzztv devices have different configurations then each other.
Some have the Android 9 OS while some have the Android 11 OS
Some have the Buzz4 app while some have the Buzz5 app

Not all boxes will take the same updates.
This is the reason why some will not get certain updates, but does not mean that the device will never get an update again. They do eventually, when needed.

so recent firmware update that was pushed for Buzztv 5 series devices are now capable of changing Mac address. :)
once you are in server settings and have added server just highlight the server and press blue button and can change Mac address. :)
