the BT-400 is one fine working RCU !!
This BlueTooth RCU is easy to setup and literally takes seconds to initiate and complete, which is part of the initial setup procedures with the X5 device.

The results are fantastic. You can take this RCU into the next room and close the door and it will still operate the device. I tested this with the RCU's volume control and it worked, it worked from down the hall and into a different room with the door closed behind me !!

Scrolls functions (such as channel changing function and other ) , scrolls these functions super fast with no delays that I have experienced so far.

The BT-400 which is now packed and shipped with the newest BuzzTV X5 models, is also working fine with the XRS4900
Did not need to install any apps or allow any permissions, it just worked :)

Most likely this will work with the other Buzz devices that use a Bluetooth remote application (4000 and 4500 and 5000 models)

But it won't have the smart remote app.

yes, that is true.
I missed that

That app will let you turn backlight on or off and allows you to set the colored buttons to your preference. I forget if it does other functions.
Is that the app you refer to?

The App comes with the X5 model, pre-installed in the Apps folder

How is the battery life on this RCM!!! I hope it is much better than the other RCM's for BUZZ boxes!!

I hate the new button locations but if I get the new400 I guess I'll get used to them!!

I've had the same batteries in my bt-200 for 13 months now and am at 42% remaining. How long are you expecting them to last?
By the way it's RCU.

Mine only last 3 or 4 months! Maybe RAV-O-VAC and Duracell are not very good. What batteries re you using, I'll try them?

I use rechargeable Energizer batteries. It's been so long I hope I can find the charger when the time comes.:p
The only remote I find hard on batteries is the ARQ-100.Too bad it isn't rechargeable like my mini keyboard.

overload

but I always been

I tossed some cheap batteries in for about 1 week and it was at 68% when I swapped them.
2 weeks ago I put in some rechargeable and it's at 90% which is where they were at when I put them in.
