Interstellar

-With mankind in danger of extinction, our hero (Cooper) decides to leave the daughter he loves to take a mission to find a new hospitable planet.
There are strange things happening at home to which Cooper and his daughter (Murph) have witnessed and of which Murph has been keeping a record of and trying to piece together.
Seems someone or something is trying to communicate with Murph thru her bookshelf and moris code, or so she thought. It was actually Binary code. The message was land corordinates, not outta reach from where Cooper lives.
What they found was Nasa, a secret Nasa.
Nasa which was thought to be disbanded years earlier, but still excists and has plans.

I liked this flick. Prolly cause it is full of hope, with the strong message of family love (love of all mankind, for that matter).
I find it fascinating with the ideas people can come up with as to how space travel would work. It is an interesting topic to be sure.
I suppose I like this movie Interstellar, because it has that and more.
It's a long movie, at almost 3 hours long (2 hr/49 min).

The New Yorker says that "The Nolans take us into the farthest mysteries of space-time, where, they assure us, love joins gravity as a force that operates across interstellar distances.

ohh and I almost forgot about Dr Mann.... someone should have hog-tied the good Doctor !!!
