View Full Version : Channels missing from M3U server

Anyone have issues with channels missing when connecting to M3U server. Connected to M3U with my Formular z8 and channels are there. I even tested using Tivimate and channels are there. No idea on how to troubleshoot this.

I have. Only happens on my BussTV boxes. I have a XRS4500 Max as well.

Just use XC API and your problem is solved.

Are you referring to all the channels or just some of them?
The XR4900 connected here with M3U Playlist URL and seems channels are all there.

When I connect to the service with Tivimate using m3u url, I get all the channels (let's say 1-1800). When I connect to the same service with BuzzTv 4 or 5 using the same m3u url, there are channels missing.

You are not helping me out here. I still do not understand if all channels or just some.
If it is all channels then the issue is in the connection, if its just some then it could be a configuration issue.

The XC API Login Portal will work as big mac mentioned earlier .
Leave the MAC unattached from the server, as the same with the m3u Portal method.
Then in the Sever Settings menu Add XC API Login and enter server Portal URL (not menu m3u URL but the server URL) and enter username/password and Connect.

Is that channel missing from the EPG or is it showing there but just not working ?
I don't see that Channel. The HGTV East channel is there and working, but no HGTV Canada channel is shown in the EPG.

I tried it on the XR4900 and there is no difference in the channels. Except some do not load as it says Format Not supported (these are some of the 'free' channels)... I never tried changing Players yet or anything else. There do work on m3u or MAC methods thou, just not thru API method.

But all channels are the same in the EPG, when using either API or M3U method, yup.
