I have a z7 and a T3 that I want to use a vpn. I tried firefox's vpn. I downloaded the app from Google store and installed it on the T3. I can't seem to get it working. It works fine on my laptop.
I need one that will do 4 devices including the z7 and T3. I would appreciate some suggestions that are working on those devices.
Thanks

IpVanish works on the T3.

clubfoot has a great alternative in place of just a regular VPN... cool :)

The FormuerZ8 has that 1.1.1.1 app in it's Market.
I don't think it is in the T3 Market thou.

I have in the recent past tried finding it as an apk file, loadable thru sideloading onto your T3 but all copies I have found seem to be corrupted

It can be found at Playstore

https://1.1.1.1/

Check the google search for more info on that too

https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=DNS++1.1.1.1

You can use that dns server if you change it manually on the T3, or any other dns server of your choice.

I guess it depends on your router tho too? If you can change the dns server in your router, it will filter to all devices connected to the network. But you can still load up a vpn too. Ipvanish, works, PIA works, cyber ghost works.

Yea, that one is in the T3 Market, I do believe.

I have had the 1.1.1.1 set in my router for about 8 months now.
Works good :)

My ISP allows me to log into administration panel for the router to add this DNS

I loaded Ipvanish right from the play store.

Some or a lot of routers provided by the ISP do not allow that. Always best to get your own to make all the changes you want! lol

yea, I know this :(

I have always said that if your ISP does not allow admin access to the router then its time to switch ISPs :)

Or that extra router is an answer too:)

Make sure you get the one from the Play Store from Cloudflare. It is not just their rerouted DNS, it is a VPN that uses their servers and it's a pretty good free VPN.

Is That Really Safe or is That Tracking and Watching what One is Viewing...?!?

Nothing in life is completely free. There are some very good paid VPNs that tout no logging. YMMV.

You can use PIA vpn on a DD-WRT router. That way, all of your devices communications are secret from your provider. I have found PIA vpn to be an excellent service with excellent speeds and it's a reasonable cost.

Sorry for jumping in if it's bad form, but I haven't been here in quite a while and the last i read a vpn wasn't allowed for use with iptv. Have things changes and if so can you direct me to more information? Thank you. I'm using a T3 if it makes any difference.
