Subtitles - How do you turn on/off

How can you turn on subtitles on the XPS4500.

LiveTV , when I look at settings they show "disabled" checked but I can not unheck it.

Also tried for VOD, movies, regular channels.

Just and FYi the subtitles work with Netflix.
