I set up my T3 about a week ago. Everything in the initial setup went well. I used it for a couple of days and everything worked good. I went to the market to get Kodi. The version that was in the market was 18.2 and also two older versions. When I downloaded 18.2 version it actually was 18.0 and also the other two older versions downloaded along with it. I could not uninstall the older versions without uninstalling all three. I went to the Kodi website to get the latest version 18.5. Since there was a option to download to Google play, I did just that. Google play was acting strange so I went back to the market to reinstall the 18.0 version until I could get help here to get the newer version. When the market opened there was nothing there but the "My apps" line that was at the bottom. I also had already lost the "mytvonline2" app and the "software update" app. First I did a iptv reset. Nothing changed. Then I decided to do a factory reset. When it got to the software version (2.0.9) screen, there is an error message under the download bar that read:"update info error" "IPTV info error(network)(-1)". Down below in that panel it reads: Current firmware version:v1.4.46, Current IPTV version: Not installed.
It seems that it is not connecting to the server. I hope someone can help!

Thanks,

Have a happy holiday.

:)

I did some testing with all this.
And I got same results trying to download the 18.5 version.
So I looked for an .apk version of it and found the apkpure download but I got same results with a message that it was not compatible

https://apkpure.com/kodi/org.xbmc.kodi

So I looked further and found this ..

https://kodi.tv/download
I have loaded it onto the T3 and it loads fine and once opened on the T3 it shows as the 18.5 version.

Open that website and scroll down the page till you see the Windows, Linux, MacOS and Android icons
Click the Android icon and then click on the ARMV7A (32bit) version.

That is an APK file with the Kodi app inside of it.
You will need to sideload that .apk file onto your T3

How to install apk...

If you can't successfully reset your stb using the online method from within the unit, you may need to do a factory reset using a reset file on USB first, since you are getting an error while attempting to reset via online.
Either way, if successful, update the unit to v2.0.9 using online update. If successful, then setup the STB with Google acct info, and then install Kodi from Playstore.
*Alternately download kodi 18.5 from kodi directly, and load onto stb (as Crazed specified)*Requires Allowing Unknown sources to be Enabled in the Android Security settings.
*Note: You should uninstall whatever version of Kodi is installed on the stb, before attempting to install a sideloaded version, as you cannot install an update onto a version of Kodi that was not attained from a similar source.

**UPDATE - Since you apparently got your STB updated (from your other Post)- the following info is useful for your reference anyway!
This is the only info I have for DL reset file, but is for a T2.
