Avov Display Setting

My Avov will not maintain it's display setting. I set it to 480p 60hz. Whenever I turn it off it go back to 1080p 60hz. When it is at 1080p, I cannot see all the words on the screen. I thought about doing a factor reset and see it that will fix the problem. .

check in settings that video is sett to manual and not auto

why not set it to you tv screen size wow and i would think 480 would be bigger lot bigger because the pixel at 480 are bigger

How old is your STB?
Internal batteries only last ~2 years.
Time to upgrade your STB (and your TV, if you have to set for 480!).

My STB is about 4 years old. 480p is the only setting I can use to if I want to see the scores off games on the screen or name of commentators on news shows. I guess it is about time for a new STB.

why cant you adjust it to screen size when you setup the box like when you use the remote to do top to bottom and side to side so it wont go passed that setting think screen setting

Whenever I change the setting, it revert back to the original setting once I turn it off or I keep it on the same channel for more than 3 hours. I do not have this problem with my other Avov.
