Power on and off

I got a Mag 324 and it works great but when I power it off it won’t power back on, I have to unplug and plug the power back in

its brand new or you have it from some time now? may be a defective box.

It’s brand new but the tv is old and it stays on no signal when the box is turned on

do you see any light front of the box when you turn it on with remote instead of unplug? if yes, try to replace hdmi cable, try different hdmi port on tv, try different TV set. if still same then may be its box.
