Hi there,

Is anyone else experiencing issues with EPG. All of a sudden for last 3-4 days, no data is being loaded. I have shut down Kodi, re-started, Disabled and Enabled Live TV, yet even though it shows loading EPG Info, nothing is loaded. I just see No information available for all channels. Should I reset the PVR database ?

I am using the IPTV Stalker add-on along with simple IPTV PVR Client.

Check the url that you are using... should be is.gd/NFPSF or NFPSE. Resetting the PVR and guide won't hurt, it's a good practice to try this, especially with any PVR.

Dara,

Nav2014 is correct. I have tried PVR IPTV Simple Client and Stalker Client using is.gd/NFPSF and is.gd/NFPSE. In both instances I have reset the PVR and the EPG database. I have also restarted Kodi. No matter what the EPG is failing to load completely (see screenshots).

The data out of the mc2xml grab is old, so psyc0n needs to run it again. Until it becomes automated, the most reliable way to have an updated guide is to run it locally.

Sorry to bother but where can we get the EPG file from to run it locally?

See the first post of this thread: http://iptvtalk.net/showthread.php?2940-NFPS-xmltv-EPG-Grabber

It's not as easy as just copying a file, but all the work has been done for you if you wish to run the process locally. The is.gd is only a url shortener to the github, where the files are hosted, and if you want to grab it from there, that's how you can avoid the issues of Kodi waiting for the internet.

Dara,

I figured it out on my own using the mc2xml.exe from the following link:

LOL...just saw you posted the link.

Thanks

The URL was set to http://ipkill.org/NFPSF
I guess that has changed. Changed it to http://is.gd/NFPSF. It is loading the EPG slooowly, so lets see if works.

It won't, as the files are not correct... missing the xml footer "</tv>"
