firmware update

new mag254 owner here , should I update to latest firmware 218 or just stick with the factory file
did see any thing posted if updating firmware was needed

My preference is to update (I did it on mine) as it gives you bug fixes and possible improvements. Use the auto update feature built in or you can use manual updating by pressing the function key, it takes about 5 minutes for the process depending on your internet speed.
