Third round action today has Tiger 4 strokes up on Justin for the lead at Atlanta @ 13 under par.
They started the day tied for the lead but Tiger is on fire with Birdies and an Eagle yesterday !!
His putting and short game is been the top of his game and his long game ain't too shabby either :)
5 birdies in a row, with 7 birdies in the first 12 holes.
He shot one from a fairway bunker and landed for a birdie chance, reminiscent of days of old :)

And another birdie to take him to 5 shots ahead now.

Tiger also earlier gained a spot in the Ryder Cup, coming next week.

Is the Big Cat back !!

Tiger lost a stroke or two on Justin and Rory, but does finish with a 65 round today which is the low round of the day.
Tiger and Rory will be playing together in the final round tomorrow.

Tiger has not won a PGA game in 5 years, will this be his day?

It's too bad that Tiger never learned how to develop a friendly personality like Arnie and Phil and be nicer to his fans. For that reason alone I am not a fan.

his past is the best in golf..... the guys that are on top of the game today grew up with Tiger an that is what made golf better then it has ever been.

The beauty of it is that yes Tiger is in his years but with some determination he shows that one can be best at what he does :)

Gallardo,you are too hard on old Tiger :eek:

even Jack is not so hard on the guy :)

Awesome, watched some of the rounds but had a feeling Tiger was going to pull it off. He is just too good, all the issues and the back surgeries set him way back but like I said he is just too good!!
