You can use a local file by selecting Custom from the XMLTV type. You can't do this with a remote, internet served, file though.

ok thanks doesn't seem worth it to me by the way 1 more question can you get hbo showtime and so on on ivue tv guide.?? thanks still messing up and fixing things up as i go along
