With the move of the HD channels to the 9000’s, it appears that the m3u playlist option doesnt list them. Is this correct or am I missing something? I just got everything working great on the DLite using playlist and /kens epg so I dont want to go back to MAC option. Anyone with any insight?

I can confirm what 85146 mentioned. I'm using ProgTV and changed the playlist option from file to URL so as to update. The channels end around 8400, so no 9200 HD channels
Movie channels are 720x480. Don't really want to go back to STB EMU which I think is what you're suggesting. Very much appreciate using /kens epg.

Thanks for input

They are there and working thru Playlist portal, with a fresh copy of the m3u Playlist file.
Are you using the Playlist URL or a m3u file loaded thru USB ?
If it is thru URL , then it should have them.
If that is an older copy of the file thru USB, it may not have the channels in place. And you'll want a fresh copy, or use the Plylist URL instead.

There is another thing that can be done too and perhaps to easiest thing can be :)
Once you get the Playlist from the website, either a hard copy of it or the Playlist URL, and with that entered into your Playlist Portal. Then go back to the website and re-attach your MAC addy.
Your Playlist Portal will work with the MAC reattached, and with MAC reattached you also have that other portal available to you too.
That way when you want to check anything thru the MAC portal, you can just by exiting Playlist Portal and entering the other Portal.
While viewing a live channel, hit the menu button on RCU to bring up the portals shortcut.

Im using the playlist url, have done a hard boot and reconnected to server, still no 9000’s showing. I will download and save the m3u list and have a look to see if there is something missing or a format change in the text that may be interfering them from displayiing.

Re the suggestion to be able to switch between the MAC and m3u url options, I’ve had it set up that way which is how I can verify the channel difference. What I may need to do is a factory reset as the DLite offers very little in the way if file/cache management through the Android settings. Ill report back findings.

I did and reset and now everything is showing. Tip for those using playlist that did catch me off guard, remember the channel ‘numbers’ are not the same when using m3u playlist. The HD’s won’t be numbered in the 9000’s rather they start at channel number 813 so dont be fooled by looking for HD’s just by thininking theyshould start in the 9000’s. Hope this helps others!

85146, Thanks for the heads up...should have seen that. Still, very few HD's and many not working.

in the Channels Forum is a Sticky post with the link to see the current channel list. That list gets updated on a regular basis.
It is a good tool to have with just a click away :)

I think there are like 31 new channel positions.
The ones listed are mostly working, except most of them Sports ones are not.

And thnx again for pointing this out guys, about the numbering thing :)

ooops, sorry guys. I meant to merge my last post with my post from earlier, but both ended up with both here as last post... sorry about that guys

Hey Crazed, that link was last edited Feb 2017 and has nothing above the 800s. Did you mean to list this one?

For anyone who wants to edit their own playlist with the new (as of today) HD Channels, edit the terms as usual, with your info.
Save and append it to the end of your playlist.
*** Since most Apps wont see the channel numbering properly, I changed the group name for these channels to "HD", so you can view just these channels if you want.

Kens... Also added are channels included in the post by Tinnie http://iptvtalk.net/showthread.php?24569-IPTV-Channel-List-Official

All of the new channels you listed in the playlist, and including the new channels by Tinnie have no guide info. Will you be able to add guide data at some point down the road?

Go back and check the date of tinieBlax Post. It is from 2016!!! ...LOL

Channels in the Post are Open (Remote).
Many are local to their Region and guide data is not readily available.

Guide info for HD channels requires more work than you might think!
It will be added.
I just don't like doing little bits again and again.

the date on the post is 2016 but the link in that post leads to the current channel list.
I put it there not long ago. That linked list is updated regularly and should be current

What I do on my playlist (and I have combined from 3 different providers) is just label the tvg-name=xxxxxxxx with the generic name so it doesn't matter what the actual channel is, the guide gets populated. So if the actual channel is SD or HD it doesn't matter. The channel name at the end of each entry could be called SD, HD or sky blue pink and still get populated with guide data for whatever channel is listed in tvg-name. Helps keep your sanity with myriad changes from the service.

I have been using ProgTV with /kens guide. Very happy with this and appreciate the work kens puts in.

With the HD channels moving I changed to using the M3U link rather than a file. Now I can see the HD channels.

The problem is the guide is now missing from some channels where previously it was present, ie most of the pay movie channels
HBO, Showtime etc. I tried downloading the file but that changes nothing. When I go back to my original M3U file the guide reappears.

Any suggestions?
