Kyle Busch won the pole for Sunday's Food City 500 at Bristol, and he beat a familiar opponent to do it — his older brother, Kurt Busch.
Kyle, the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup series points leader, turned a lap of 14.895 seconds in the No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota, just nipping Kurt's time of 14.897 seconds.

#9 Chase Elliot will loose his crew chief Alan Gustafson, for the next 2 Monster Energy points races.
Comes with a $50,000 dollar fine and a lose of 20 owner points and 20 driver points :(
Seems there was an infraction from last race that had to do with the rear window brace :eek:

Something broke on Harvick's car during prcatice today and ended up in the wall.
AJ Allmendinger also had a bit of a mishap going into turn #1 and spun around tagging the wall

Dang it... near the end of stage 1,Blaney literally runs into spinning lapped traffic. Had a great car too.

Right, Thanks again...! I thought Logano was gonna get it after Blaney got smacked as He was #2 then...! Just goes to show that in these Races on the Short Fast Tracks Accidents are Happening and Positions are changing under the Caution...!
Another red flag for weather. Larson had a relatively huge lead before.

Weather conditions forced a delay in the planned 1 p.m. start on Sunday afternoon and created four red flag stoppages during the day.
Kyle Larson is the current race leader with 46 laps to go in the second stage.
NASCAR will pick up the action with hopes of completing the remainder of the race on Monday at 1 p.m. All of the action can be seen right here on FOX 5 Atlanta." ...!

With 110 laps to go, it is raining and looks like we may get stopped here.
The guys know it and are driving them cars like it is the last lap !!
Bubba is driving like an old veteran for his first time at this track with these Cup cars :)
Kyle Larson spins around and comes out completely unscathed :)
Kyle B and Kyle Larson may have the strongest cars out there at this point.
And we may get back racing sooner then later :)

“We heard from many fans about returning the spring race to Saturday and getting back ‘under the lights’ for both our 2018 race weekends,” said Richmond President Dennis Bickmeier. “A big part of our identity for 18 years is racing ‘under the lights’ as there is a different energy in the air on Saturday nights at Richmond. We look forward to bringing back the iconic race weekend experience generations of Richmond fans remember.”
