Sound problems with my mag256 box

Sound coming and going, have tried new HDMI cable, sound was ok, turned off box, back on a few hours later no sound, I'm new at these boxes so simple answers would be helpful please :D the box is brand new and was installed on Thursday just gone.

I am experiencing the same issue and it doesn't matter what I do the sound just go off. it works sometimes then and I change the channels it stops working. Sometimes I have to reboot the Samsung TV then the MAG 256 and the sound will come back for a while.

any fix for this issue ? it seem to be a firmware thing?
