What's with SAP?

I am watching Bellator on the Spike channel and am getting the SAP text on screen...really don't want it! Can't figure out how to enable or disable it.

It shows up during the live broadcast and also during "some" commercials. I tuned to different stations and it wasn't there, tho I did not wait more than 30 seconds or so.

Is there a setting somewhere to simply turn it off everywhere?

It is a setting in the headend's equipment.
They need to disable.
Other channels sometimes have the SAP enabled, and you get descriptive video narration, which is very disturbing!!!

I have same problem on 2 channels. Headline News and Spike. Both have SAP.Kens... can you notify the powers that be to correct that headend setting??
