I will call this a bug because it bugs me. When I get a channel up that is not solid, has some interruptions, a black banner comes up that shows the channel info. That banner does not time out. It makes me hit the [exit] button on the remote to get rid of it. It generally follows the little circle spinning "Loading...". I hit the [exit] and a little later, the channel has another interruption and, BAM. I am back to that banner. It should time out.
