I updated to the R19 firmware and i get a blinking in the video every 30 seconds, it WAS NOT blinking in the R14 firmware.
I want to get back to R14 but it won't let me do it. Any ideas please

The only way to get it back will be to down load r14 into a clean flash drive and install it through the Bois in your mag 254. Instructions are all in here .Just follow exactally the way they explain them. Should bring you back to the r14 once again. Ask a mod to give you the link on the instructions.

Hi,
Yes i did load the r14 using a flash drive through the bios and it worked perfectly.
I am back to r14 and the video blinking is gone, I can't believe many people haven't complained about this. Anyway I disabled firmware updates and will stay with r14
Thank You

fact is that it must be a rare thing... maybe a conflict with hardware or devices or cables or etc. Otherwise we woulda heard reports. Yours has been about the only report :(

ladysmith has been on these mags and I bet this is new to him or her too.. the blinking I mean and the file fixing that.

when loading or reloading a file, that mag will and does go thru a reboot phase.. maybe that helped the situation and nothing to do with the file :)

Hi,
No I re=booted several times while running r19 and the video blinking remained. Only reverting back to r14 stopped the blinking.

okay bud, i hear yea.
The mag team also heard this :)
Might not be something they can fix, if on user end, but I know they will look into it

The r19 works good don,t know what was causing your blinking problem. But over all the r14 is the best file . If you have this running keep it.:D
