Linking mac addy

I read about linking donation number with mac addy.Does it matter if you bought from a reseller?I will like to be able to renew my donation so I will not be in the dark.

they just require id to link with ur account,, & ask for donation number to do so.. they don't ask where u got it from & as long as # is active i'm pretty sure u'll have no problem..:)
