The factory remote does have those VOd, Live TV, FAV & Group button functions , they do come in handy:)
ANy universal remote would prolly work, once setup. Of course, the functions of the described buttons may vary.
My fav is the Harmony Remote (can be reasonable price for one of their decent models but very pricey for their top end model).

Wireless slash USB keyboards will work (come in handy when having to enter info onto the T1), same for wireless mouse.
And them unniversal remotes with the keypad on the back will work (once setup of course)
