Using the pvr settings for offset from UTC to -4; apply to all channels for Eastern Standard Time works just fine in Kodi 16.1, however there still seems to be a 1 hour difference when using Kodi 17.3. The Simple Client pvr settings for the same offset don't seem to work. It's perhaps a bit counter intuitive, but what I have found is that rather than using -4, changing that to +1 fixes the problem.
Who'da thunk?
All you have to do after making the change in pvr settings is to go into PVR and Live TV > Guide > Clear data
Your kidding?
I have that exact problem on win7 pc /17.3 /P2 /Potato & Simple.
Could not get the GMT-4 adjustment. Always 1hr off.
Had to change system timezone, which screws up other things like TOR and FibeTV subsc. access.
gotta try this when I get back. Thanks
