Hdmi connection

Hi all I've got a new IP set top box and connected the HDMI cable through my Pioneer receiver. At first all was fine I could get picture and sound quite fine I turn that off and next day on but no picture nor sound I could get. I tried all kinds to get it going but no luck. If I connect it direct to tv it works fine.
can any body help me on this please

I know it sounds frustrating but it has to do with the buttons for the setting on your pioneer so keep playing with it until you get the setup through this device.

If your box has optical audio out, use it to your HT rec...
that would be S/PDIF cable

Thank you Guys for the replays. I used the optical audio return from the tv to the receiver and it worked fine.

That is what I got on my HTH as well it is the best way to transfer the audio from your devices to your HTH for a very clear sound.
