Fork of JARVIS + SPMC = FTMC fork
May be seen as Krypton by some media sources , but couch checked on this and it is Jarvis (see below) :)

FTMC
Kodi 16.x
SPMC

what a great info mate!

I might be wrong, but AFAIK the FTMC is still based on the kodi 16.1 (JARVIS)

but it supports Python v2.7.x & SSL TLS 1.2 like the kodi KRYPTON (17.x) does

and it also supports 2 common chipsets:

amlogic

http://freak-tab.de/luis/Ftmc/FTMC-16.1-armeabi-v7a-Build-25.apk
rockchip (which is abandoned by SPMC)

http://freak-tab.de/luis/Ftmc/FTMC-16.1-armeabi-v7a-Build-25-RK-Version.apk

and here is their official discussion thread:

cool beans
thnx for checking this out couch
Sounds like good news for us old Androids :)

I only watched the video so far, have him subscribed. I seldom like ytubes for most things android, but I like that ytuber guy, he is ontop of his game (except missing the Krypton thing) :).

I do not like Kodi 17.... in fact I hate it... lol

Opening post has been corrected, with the Krypton thing fixed.. thnx couch
For info shared too!

On that video description, it says you need to uninstall Kodi. Is that true?

Edit: It does look like it, at least superficially. The real name of the app is "org.xbmc.kodi"
