I see people are still asking is the server up or down . Surly the answer is to use a checking site and find out , if the answer comes back "it's just you" then you need to do something , follow the answers given on numerous threads . Have a look at the attached jpg.

Reset your box , did it work ? ...no then reset your modem/router . If still no check your typing have you entered the URL correctly ?
