My STB Emulator is not working since yesterday. I was getting "Your STB is blocked. Please call your provider" and today I get the yellow stick going half way and stay there.
1. Is there a fix for that?
2. Where will I put user name and password if I pay a provider for it? One of them told me that it will not work

You can only change mac address if you have access to the portal. If the yellow bar is stuck, I would reinstall the app.
