HI. In the market for a new box. Alot of people are talking about the ABOX as being the best right now. Can someone chime in and say which is the best box to purchase now as far as reasonably price, etc.

I have heard that the ABox is really a Chinese TV Service ....the hardware is a cheap unknown Android box..they preload it with a streaming Service ..all for 200 to 300 dollars ..Your really not buying a Box...your buying the Service....You are left in the Dark though as to how long it will last and if there is any support .........Your best bet is to buy a Dreamlink T1 or Nvidia Shield ...........Kodi will be your friend and you can add Services talked about on this forum to these boxes..............I do see an A-Box Android on Amazon for as low as 50.00 ................this is different then the A-Box service I mentioned above

Hi Floder2. I was referring to the A-box that you see for around 50-80 bucks and not the Chinese service. Box is 64 bit and has Android 6.0 which can load Kodi 17 and higher. Super fast chipset and GPU. T1 has only Android 4.4 or something like that and can load up to Kodi 16. No higher. Forget the Nvidia. Its way too expensive and has a mic that is always on.

I’ve just bought a Mecool Kii Pro.

It’s a 905 CPU with 2GB of RAM. What made me go for this one it is has a built in DVB-S and DVB-T tuners allowing me to scan in FTV satellite channels to sit along side the IPTV ones when the buffer or just don’t work!

In the UK you would be able to combine Freeview and Freesat channels into one EPG.

was $70
