Programming 256 RC for other devices

Hi,
I am having difficulties with this as their instructions are really not clear.
And I have seen the thread on this on the 254 board, and it wasn't any clearer!

They say there are 5 programmable buttons marked with blue print.
Are these: On/Off, Mute, A/V, Vol+, Vol-?

Can I add two separate RCs? TV and amplifier? The manual writes "for controlling other devices" plural.

If so, how do I make differentiate them on the RC?

I tried to programme my amp and the blue button then worked to turn it on and off, so I could not add anything because pressing that button and AV to activate pairing turned the amp on and off.
I have reset.

Hi,

Yes, these five are all the buttons you can program. You can program one function only to a button. Meaning that you could set the blue On/Off button to turn on your TV and the Vol+/- to control your amp but you can't set one button to control more than one device.
