I purchased Mag256 and updated the box without any problems.

I have Image version 220.
How do you install Stalker Middleware 5.0.1 to the Mag 256?
Can you install from boot log and via USB Stick?
Is there a file section to get Stalker?
How to confirm Stalker has been installed?
Please I need help:confused:

Hello.

I don't believe you have to install it. It should already be installed.

I have a MAG256w1 (same as MAG256) with version 220, too. And it already has the Stalker middle-ware installed. This was confusing to me too at first because it's not apparent from the main UI screen.

What you have to do is:

(1) Add a portal (portal name = whatever_you_want_to_call_it; portal URL = http://your.portal.url e.g. http://11.iptvRocket.tv -- use yours here).

(2) Then, exit the main UI by hitting the HOME button a few times until you get a "Do you want to exit the main UI? " (something like that). At which point you will press the "Ok" button to indicate yes.

(3) It is then that you will see a listing of the portal(s) you added above, and can select it. Once selected, you will get a dialog box to enter the username and password for the Stalker provider you subscribe to.

No need to install the middle-ware. It's already there, just not obvious. :)

the portal refers to server access
A portal to their server, so to speak.

With the m3u playlists, you do not need to go thru the portal
