I really don't see how the forum is working consolidating the obvious problems in the community regarding the EPG. There appears to be issues with the dream link boxes and kodi, using the stalker native client, pulling random adult channels. That's huge for kids around. The other is the EPG. This is critical to most end users.

I see many threads discussing EPG. Its always the same, third party add-ons with various dependencies. People all over the threads show dated information. Most of it Ninja, no one moderating this dated technical stuff. I see everyone going to Ivue, ProStreams, Ninja, Renegades. All these seem to go to EOL, paid or just rebranded.

I get it psycon do what you love, but in this forum, we look for help, we get directed to various solutions. SO many links in this forum go to the ninja site, tell people to go there, tell us to download and install software. Now it rebranded. No discussion of this seems tolerated but the forum was critical and is critical in promoting it even. We are keeping old URLS and instructions alive. One month old is ninja Don't mention here what you see there! There is a competitive service at that URL.

So where does the NFPS go now. The EPG I thought used to come from a URL at the server side, using my mac and donation. Cant I get that back? Didnt that go away,as I recall, and switched to Ninja.

HMMMM what happened there or more importantly, help me get my EPG using it the way the KODI Team knuckled down and designed it. That stalker middleware seems to get that random porno a lot like the discussing of this in T1 forums Is the kodi code and the dream link box firmware even on the same page these days?
How to fix that porn issue and the guide now. Lets discuss this. Help with the etiquette please.

I dropped EPG Ninja months ago and started looking for alternatives. The Kodi programs section has a wealth of information on EPG guides. Currently I use this one.
http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=282157 The source can be either Schedules Direct (paid JSON integration service) or WebGrab plus (free). Web Grab plus will create an XMLTV file and you can import this file into the Kodi Tv Guide. The file can live on a computer or networked drive.

Schedules Direct - just simply create several line ups and you a good to go.

For both the Guide and WebGrab plus or SD, you must invest quite a bit of time learning how to configure channels. I have found in these EPG set ups there is no easy solution to viewing the programs available. Once set up though, it works and it works well. All the IPTV channels must be added to your favorites though.

I use ITPV Stalker "plus". I've configured and tried all the others, this one works great.

Great news, thanks, I have been looking at this for several days. I finally decided to give the webgrab+Plus a run. I have managed to get it rolling now. I am geared toward a free solution as I am not in the game and don't want to get into taking donations, if I could ever get a complete guide. I have webgrab+Plus setup. I am now pulling a couple tests. I am using sky to pull the sat data. I compared that data to a guide I got posted here http://iptvtalk.net/showthread.php?24246-EPG-Data-*-FIX-*-tuturial-with-no-discussion. My data matched on all channels in the test. Now just to get it to match the channel names in stalker. I use the native stalker and that XML posted has like 10 days in it and it has made life easier until I can pull my own guide and get it going.
