from some months ago we no longer recommend avov boxes for our service, please buy them at your own risk, if you happen to have issues, use kodi and then get our kodi app from forums, their tvonline app is having many issues.

why is there mods on here that promotes Avov and claims that nova is coming out soon? Many good things to come please support Avov? stay tuned more to come that's all I know?

NOW this WTF?
why does the admin. allow mods or anyone else promote certain boxes for their own financial gain?

Peace

So is the Admin only implying that this service will not work well with the tvonline application but with kodi?

Or is it the end of the AVOV suite of products and there support?

Please clarify.

Thank you

More like AVOV has been talking out of the side of their mouth for a long time.......just can't trust them........

And some Mods here were pushing the box. Not impressed with the lack of service. It could be a great box if they get the bugs worked out but will not hold my breath.

Can you tell me which boxes you guys support?

manny, we support you... what ever box you may have, we support.
All help or suggestions or advice or whatever you need is yours on this site.

as far as staff supporting a box of any kind, well that is what happens on websites.
We support and perhaps promote devices, as long as that does not interfer with site functionality, site safety, members safety, security, or conflicts of any nature.

We don't necessarily support boxes, but will help you get going with the services. The issue with the Avov's appear that their software may not be updated in the future for the Stalker servers, however you should be able to load Kodi on those boxes. Besides boxes that can run Kodi, the Dreamlink T1 and the Mags can run the servers on imbedded firmware.

Thank you. I will look into mag or dream link T1

Yes it does. As far as MAGs go, consider that you can't do much beyond connecting to a Stalker supported server.

Thanks for an honest answer, You are right, can't get Kodi on mags, I do need Kodi, So any suggestions other then Avov.

manny786
09-30-2016, 04:02 PM
would need an Android box.

dara
09-30-2016, 04:32 PM
If going "Android" my biggest gripe is that some box makers make it so customized and bloated that its hard to install third party software (Phone makers are really bad at this). Amazon does this with their Android offerings, and also lock down their boot loaders and recovery. You also want to avoid low memory boxes, or sticks, you save money, but get headaches in the long run. On the other hand, if you buy a generic Android box, you get what you pay for... no returns! Try to get an Android box that is upgradeable to at least Android 5.0. so you can use Kodi 17 and greater if you wish.

Did AVOV not made it clear they have NOVA which is a competitor to STALKER so that's why Stalker is no longer supported. Its also interesting because at the same time this site is promoting NOVA URL so which is it?

I don't think AVOV made that clear at all, but their actions show that they may be doing that. So, if their firmware doesn't support Stalker, we can't support it. Kodi still works on their boxes, and in some cases you can install third party software.

That is what confused many of us, I thought Nova Middlware was just a name that would replace The tvonline(stalker) app they have. Instead it is a competitor to stalker(or the mag brand) which this service is based upon. So promoting the nova middlware being a direct competitor to Stalker middleware is promoting another service! since in order for us NFPS users to benefit from it, NFPS would have to ditch stalker middleware and jump to nova middleware thus leaving all mag users and kodi users in the dust!

I personally feel i was sold a lie when i pre-order the tvonline4 they promised many things like grided epg only to find out it only works on services that run on nova middleware servers.

What about NOVA currently in beta testing? Are you saying that will not be supported also, or just TVONOLINE running on AVOV boxes?

We don't deal with speculation here. The big guy says we can't support the TVonline on Avov boxes, and says to use Kodi instead. If there is an announcement of support of NOVA, for the servers, you will see it from Staff.

Ok! understood loud and clear. Use KODI version of TVONOLINE while continue to test NOVA.

I never bashed any box, read my posts again. My discussion centered on the discontinued use of stalker on the AVOV box. It was not clear to many including myself.

Its much clearly now to use the KODI version of TVONLINE.

You used profanity... That's also a rule violation. My interpretation is that you are bashing the company, and so the box. It's not a doorstop.

The TVOnline Plus is an Avov product, that runs the TVOnline app. It still works using Kodi. It may stop working with the supported servers through the TVOnline app, unless they make changes to it. That's the point of the announcement. Feel free to voice your opinion and questions to the box maker, if this is a concern of yours.

I was already sick of avov to be honest. They're constantly releasing new products, which is great, but every one of their boxes have hit the market with bugs and issues. Almost every one of them was sold as containing features which they did not actually possess. Few if any updates to address bugs. No updates containing new features. Loads of broken promises. Android based, with no access to the underlying android system.

My tvonline+ works well enough, but if they actually gave a crap about existing owners the box could be so much better.

My next box will be an android box, but it won't be an avov.

The TVOnline Plus actually does not have and never did have an app called TVOnline in the market .........its built in to the main screen and called Live-TV you can't remove it...its just part of the skin....

Fuse is the same way. does not have TV online app.it is built in to it. from the time they started promoting the fuse it was advertised it would have NOVA. the packaging has the NOVA logo on it. Now they say nothing and will not respond. it appears that they are only looking to sell new boxes and not fulfilling their promises.
maybe they can respond to what really is going on?

not sure what everyone is worried about. The tvonline built in app would still support the major IPTV servers out there. That being said still love my avov but dreamlink T1 is still better :)

It seems as though there is some trouble in paradise between the avov teams software and hardware team, this can oftem be the case..just take note folks not evey box will be supported, its the game you play when you deal with any grey area service. Just be thankful that the mods on this site and the admin have areas where they offer other members to discuss hardware period..remeber that this whole fourm is based on a service not hardware support

It's ok. Nothing there yet anyway. If it actually comes available, I'm sure someone will test it.

Just looking at their site... no mention of 'Stalker' anywhere.
