View Full Version : Custom XMLTV File Issue

Hello,

I hope someone can help me out with this. I am using WebGrab Plus to build a custom XMLTV file to add to my TV Guide addon. Everything builds and outputs the Channel Guide XML file however, when I load it into Kodi its not displaying the program data. It loads the channel names and I can link the channels from my PVR but it doesn't show what is playing it says "No Program Data Avaliable" - Does anyone have any idea what I might be doing wrong?

Awesome! I was able to fix the issue. :)

However, I am trying to load channel logo's to iVue TV Guide and they aren't loading, I even manually added the icons in the Channels from my PVR. Do I need to manually add the channel logos to my XMLTV file?

You wouldn't add the logo's to the xmltv file. If you are using Ivue, right click on the Ivue icon, choose add-on settings/appearance/logo source.

DualTest thanks brother! Working great now.

I will be making a step by step tutorial on how to build your XMLTV files and add it to the forum, I think it will help the beginners out as i haven't found anything on IPTV Talk regarding creating your own XMLTV file.

I just checked that out and mine didn't load either. I know when building a list that the name has to match the channel name exactly. So you may want to check the name of the png file against the channel names.

It was pulling blurry channel logos but it is from the tv guide website that im grabbing the program data from which is locatetv.com, do you know of another tv guide website that actually has bigger icons to grab from?
