: System Version 2.4.2 (dated 2016.08.18)
: DOL version 1.4.0


1.Catch UP TV feature added.
2.TV Series feature added.
3.Force APP closing feature added.(Hold Menu button and press up/down key).

***** Please be aware that users MUST practice new system upgrade of v.2.4.2 dated 2016.08.18 in order to fully enjoy new features and less service access failure *****

just updated and all my apps are still there i still have to figure it out but it the update went smooth good work

Side Note: is there a way to make a image backup of the device (1:1 copy) for restoring... if anything did go wrong?

Android back end, not sure if a custom recovery could be installed on these things.


EDIT : update went well. Love the new "Line" feature in the EPG -- I also noticed some channels have a 'red play icon' next to the channel name? What is that indicating ?

That would be nice, but I don't think that would be in "their best interests"

I can see where you're coming from there, making it 'easier' for some to take advantage of it -- good call :) Thought I'd ask. Thanks for the response !

Anyone having problems downloading the latest version 2.4.2 ? When I try to download it, it get stuck halfway through and exit the screen.

The Red Play Icon - It's basically an indicator of which channels have the Time Shift enabled on them. So if you go to the EPG and go back an hour or half hour, and press ok on the remote it will start playing that program.

I did the update for a friend down the road while they were at work so I had time to test it out for about an hour. Both the Catchup feature, and the TV Series works fine from my tests.

Unfortunately these features are currently not available on NFPS, Rocket, and IPTV66, but could be enabled sometime in the future.

Right on man, thanks for the response. I don't use any of those providers anyways. Great to see the advancements , looking forward for what's to come :)

Since update i am having a issue. While watching tv, Suddenly a message comes up on the screen " No Network connection"
There is no such issue. My internet is working fine but for some reason this is new thing which i noticed after the update. Need help guys.

I had that happen on the avov boxes last night too but said network something in Spanish so could be the server if you where watching tv channels

I Had that problem today morning again but did factory reset the box and re-install the DOL.
looks stable after that.

I have not been able to get any VOD movies since the new update.Keep getting "cannot play this video" message. Anyone else?

Please add Search Feature in VOD. Sometime it becomes very hard to find movies.

Yes its working good.

Soooooo glad I bought this device, everything working great and I'm glad they enabled the 12 hr clock and the running line.

Hi,
When i go to service list and try to connect with the server, I am getting a Error message "Service Not Available" It started coming after the Last DOL Update. and its not happening on all the servers. It happening on Few server. Anybody Else is having the same issue??

i think your number is only set up with one server not all of them if your connecting with one then thats the server you have been assigned to correct me if i am wrong
