v2.4.0 Upgrade !!

Hi Everyone,

I just downloaded the new upgrade and it deleted all my Apps ?!
Why is that?
Also, in the New upgrade/Update the STB Emulator that existed before is NOT in the Market anymore ?!!
What's going on?

This is a firmware update, and usually that means that downloaded apps will be deleted. I only use SPMC so its not a big deal for me, but now we get the aptoid market as well.

The STB Emulator on Google Play was renamed to STBemu, so look for it that way. The reason why is that Infomir claimed that it infringed on its new android app, and it was taken down by Google, but mvas renamed it.


This update is pretty extensive, a firmware update, as well as software update, and your box will reboot itself about 4 times before completion.

Also, in order for me to get the STBEmu I guess I have to d/l Chrome and then search GooglePlay in the Google?
And once I download it where would I find the downloaded file, I mean where do I find the Folder?

Read my post in #2. All apps are deleted, DOL and YouTube are automatically reinstalled. Server settings are retained.

Unless you have Google Play installed on the T1, you can't directly install apps from there. It's more involved than just loading the .apk, you probably will need to install the appropriate Google Play services as well.

I took the update this afternoon. I noticed that all of the apps in the Market are still there. I even see Kodi 16, Kodi 16.1, Kodi 17 and SPMC. I was having an impression yesterday that all of the apps in the Market got wiped out except for the YouTube and DOL?

No one said that about the T1. I wrote that downloaded apps were deleted in the update. Separately, the Avov TVonline 4's market was emptied.

Hello all
Just registered today because I received box. Plugged it in and took all the updates. Once that was done I entered server names and got those going. I was reading your sticky post about all the addons (apk) there are but I only see 16 of them in the market. How do I get them back so I can choose some like FilmonTV and such.
