Help with preview Box to work while surfing using MX player

I know that there are a lot of post concerning this topic put there are not any post with step by step instructions on how to do it, i'm using MagTv and Mx Plyayer 17.37, mx player codec armv7. and I still cannot get this preview thing working for me, can anyone help me and other with this?

Any help would be appreciated.

are you trying to view the channel in the preview box? i have not seen that work with the mx player

Oh, ok thanks DarkSide, could you recommend any player that work with preview box working with magtv?

The preview box only works sometimes with the internal player or the VLC plugin settings. I can't say if it works with "MagTV" or the "MAG 260", but it works sometime on my android and PC emu's.

the mag 260, it does work on the internal player but its hit and miss.. sometimes it will work, then it wont, then nothing works... Same thing with my MXIII and the M8... i have never seen it work with the mx player, im hoping one of these updates to the emulator will allow the internal player to work as it does on the mag 254

you can try it out... internal is just real up and down.. sometimes the movie plays, sometimes not, same with live tv.. it wont hurt to try it, you can always go back and change from internal to external if it doesnt work.. i always try the internal when a new version of the emu comes out and always have to end up using the mx player, which is fine, cause it works well

Thanks again, I think I will stick to Kodi with MyGica, it seems to work better, I did notice with Kodi all Adult stuff is gone..

IMO, kodi works better than the emulator, but at this time with all the channels that have been added, not all of them work... We have to wait for an update to the stalker addon for the new channels to work

I installed the VLC player on my Android box, and picked that option as a media player. It works moderately well, but doesn't decode some that MX can. The VLC option only works with ARM v7 devices.

i also noticed that there are some that the mx player doesnt decode since you brought this up... really weird and i dont remember which channels but when i click on them, it brings up the option to choose another media player from the list and ive chosen xmtv and vlc which work, just weird that the mx player didnt work for some...

Yeah, the MX player does not decode the rtmp streams, and needs xmtv or vlc to do that. The first adult channel (visit-x) is a good example of that.
