My access point does not publish its SSID ... and I cannot define the Wifi connection with the M8S.

For the time of the connection discovery I change the AP to publish its SSID.
That way I can connect to it and the M8S is happy.
Back to "no SSID" and the M8S is still happy.

Now if I unplug the M8S, on the next boot it won't reconnect to this Wifi as if the setup has been broken.
I have to reconnect with the SSID published and it means I have to follow that process each time the M8S is unplugged, lets say to go in another room.

Am I doing something wrong, or is my M8S faulty, or is it a known bug for all the M8S ?

Of course our Android mobiles and tablets work fine once the Wifi connection has been defined, even after a power cycle.

Thank you for your help.

That is the nature of the unpublished SSID. You need to specify the SSID information in the M8S or any wifi deice that needs to connect. The unpublished SSID is a very good way of security or you would not have it that way.

Change your router security to WAP and enter a password./ then use the password for WiFi access.
Enter 192.168.0.1 into your browser to access router./kens
