ott t9 keeps exiting kodi

Hi guys

Got a new Ott t9 android 5.1, most times when going into kodi(currently 16.0) , the screen goes black and it just comes back to the main screen . once in a while kodi seems to load properly , but when something is selected(ie navix) it comes back to the main screen again.

tried updating kodi to 16.1 and also lower version , says installed and completed , but never updates
tried deleting kodi and installing manually , keep getting parsing error .
I spent hours on this box and just cant seem to get anywhere

They have sent me a full image , I have reimaged the box a couple of times and it appear to be successful , but still same problem with exiting kodi all the time

need some help before I throw this thing in the trash

got it figured out , the box maker had a restricted account setting in a sub menu deeply hidden . turned it off and was able to do a manual kodi install. went to 15.2 and is so far behaving very obediently.

That factory image has a lot of issues , be wary t9 owners .

I HAVE A M8S AND IT HAs similar issues. Where did you find the submenu?

Cant remember exactly , setting menu in android , then profile or security , you'll just have to go into all places and find it .
I don't have the box any more , was helping out a friend to get it working
