Got 299 today

But quite a few are renamed from the real service name to countryname, like russia1, russia2, russia3, etc.

What happenned to the real names?

The real names should be there when the channel is opened up or info is pressed, will have to see how it goes from here as lots of behind the scene work is taking place.

Have not checked but think the pac 12 are listed under sports as the channel count did not go down.

No the pac12 are listed as sport16-22. They lost their names, like the country channels!

I tried tuning these in with the generic names. They do NOT show the real channel names on the channel list or when pressing info. As a matter of fact, if you press info while on one of these, it goes back to a different channel.

I have a mag254. This is broken.

I know it is test mode, I am just reporitng it to you. It is broken since the last 50 channels were added

Your report is well taken as it adds to the imformation members can use, now I was referring mainly to the onscreen logo of a working channel for instance Italy has the RAI onscreen, takes a lot more on user to sort through the channels as it stands and may deter some from using as is.
Would expect to see more changes to make user friendly.

I agree with you. I know that this is the testing phase, but it would be more user friendly to have the channel names, so that you know exactly which channel you are on, instead of having to figure out what Sports 1, 2, 3, etc is. I hope that this suggestion to revert back to channel names is taken on board.

They changes the channel names so less people would want to watch them. WTF
This is still in testing mode so surely when finished they will have the correct names.

That is not what theuduk said.
Yous may be misunderstanding the post.

They didn't change the names so less people watch them.
An outcome of the name changes 'may deter some from using as is' ... is what was said and surly meant.

Why complain about something that is still in testing mode?

concerning some channels that end up with different channel names then what they are supposed to be.
With any quality iptv service they strive in bringing in the best quality channels and that may mean trying a few different sources of the same channels or same groupings of channels. This would be done during testing with the general public involved at all times. To get a stable and high quality channel line-up it can talk years to do. lol.
No wonder this testing period is lasting so long :)

Okay for example... we get some channels with an Indian description but yet they are Arabic channels. Well that comes from what I was talking about already.
There is a source somewhere in which the person responsible didn't make the distinction, but the source was or is being tried.
They (the server admins) are testing these resources. Once the service is established and is an operating 'service' , then things will be stabilized and channels should and will be correct for content.
If you understand all this then it makes perfect sense.. and is a good answer as too why this extended testing service :)

So hold on tight guys, the ride ain't over yet :)
